Get Help
How to get help
If you need help from our foodbank there are a few simple steps to follow.
THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP IS TO GET A FOODBANK VOUCHER CODE.
- To access our support you will need to visit one of our partner referral agencies. They will talk to you about your situation and if they feel you are struggling to put food on the table, they can issue you with a foodbank voucher code. The agency will also be able to talk to you about other support available.
Some of our Referral Agencies are listed on our Foodbank Vouchers page. - A foodbank voucher code can be redeemed for a 3 day emergency food parcel. The voucher code is valid for seven days from the date of issue.
- You will need to attend one of our foodbank centres to receive the food parcel. The referral agency will direct you to the most appropriate centre. Our volunteers at the foodbank centre will assist you and are available to talk about other areas of our work and support. If you have support from a professional, they can go to the Foodbank centre on your behalf as long as they have professional ID on them and they take your voucher code. A family member or neighbour that you trust can also go to the Foodbank on your behalf with the voucher code.
Our foodbank centres and opening times (where you can take your voucher code to get food) are listed on our website here: www.cardiff.foodbank.org.uk/locations
